4K-Karate’s Lincoln Elementary program focuses on self defense, self development and self discipline. The students will spend most of their time training in Kihon (basic fundamentals) and Jiko bōei (self defense). They are taught in small groups with a major emphasis mastering techniques and critical thinking of when and why to use them. Advancement in rank can be earned by hard work and good study habits. Students must maintain a 2.5 grade point average to participate in Karate. Students that excel in practice and the classroom will be offered opportunities to compete in local tournaments.
